I have a TC-K100M1/2NPT connected to a SYL-2362

The PV shows 80 with the RTD in Ice water (32F)
When in hotter water the RTD does change PV but it is incredibly slow and falls behind 20-30-40+F (2 other thermometers showing actual temps for comparison) which causes the PID to overheat by those 20-30-40+F. I have not been able to complete an auto-tune because the temps are so far off it ends up in a boil with the PV still under my SV of 154F

inty = K
outy = 2
HY = 1
Atdu = 0
PSb = 0
rd = 0
CorF = 1

RTD Wired:
White to #8
Red to #9 w/ a jumper to #10

Any help is appreciated..
Thanks

The TC-K100M1/2NPT is a type K thermocouple. It is not an RTD. These are different kinds of sensors.

It sounds like you have it wired up wrong. The manual for the SYL-2362 says that thermocouples should be wired with + to 9 (red) and - to 10 (blue). The polarity is important. Terminal 8 is only used for RTD's. There shouldn't be any jumpers between 8, 9, or 10 either.
