I'm not sure if this belongs in beginners thread or the AG subforum, but I'm switching to a 3 tier AG system and I was wondering if I should get another burner or not. I currently have an SP10 that I've been using for ME brews, so I was wondering if it was possible to simply exclusively use that as opposed to getting a second burner. Ideally, I'd have my HLT on top, MT, then boil kettle. The idea would be to move the location of the burner, IE have it for the HLT at first, and then move it once sparging. Would love to hear what people are doing for their cheapo three tier setups (I went through the wooden stand thread which was super helpful). If this is the wrong thread, I apologize!

Don't know how much help I will be here since I don't have a brewing stand setup at this point. But one of the reasons I'm considering going to a brew stand is so I can have a second burner. Right now I just have one. I'd like to be able to heat water in the HLT and hold it there. This would open the possibility of fly-sparging while keeping a fire under the boil kettle.
