My hard lemonade is at its target final gravity, however when I tasted the hydrometer sample it was pretty tart and didn't taste that great. Is that normal? Can a sweeten it after fermentation? Is there a preferable type of sugar I should use? Thank you.

3 options:

1. Pasteurize to kill the yeast, then add sugar to taste. Either force-carb (keg) or serve flat.
2. Add a sweetener that isn't fermentable (sucralose, lactose, etc).
3. Sweeten with sugar at serving time (stir in a spoonful of sugar or two when you pour a glass).
