Hi, (sorry thats 95% Ethanol I cant edit the title)

I wonder if you guys can help..

Obviously glass is ideal, but past demijohns, which are hard to move, heavy and impossible id have thought to post, I am seeing conflicting ideas about what can be used to store say 5Litres ..

I have seen many herbal extraction alcohols in 5 Litre HDPE Gerry cans, and wondered if I could use these, but when I looked it up, it said there may be damage to the bottle or leaching after a few months, which is not acceptable to me at all, but I dont understand how lots of these companies are selling it - food grade in them if this is so?

..or is there is any other softer and lighter suitable container than glass anyone knows of?

Thank you so much for all your opinions here and wisdom.

Glass 1gallon carboys.

Cheaper than most other options and plentiful.

I used several to keep Heads/Tails as well as for finished product for aging before buying 5gal ones. And then having to move to a place where I can't run my set up lol
