Scored this tower today...
IMAG0330.jpg

Got it from a local bar for $20. It's in pretty good shape over all just needs a good cleaning and a new perlick tap down the road.
Now, how should I go about cleaning it? The outside is no problem, I'm not sure what to clean the inside with.

Second is the wooden base. Should I lose it or clean/paint it, turn it around and keep it as the base? Just for reference it'll go on top of a frigidare mini fridge.
Over all I thing I made out pretty good on the tower...

thats pretty cool, i would run it with some PBW and rinse real good and the hit with some star san through the lines the base is up to you i like to keep things original personally

Tower is brass. Can't wait to see it cleaned up. The perlick is a definite just need a few weeks before I have some cash. Going camping @ a local NASCAR race and money is tight. Lol.

I don't think they make the forward seal perlick in brass. I think they have a gold plated stainless version. I also reccommend the use of bkf to clean and shine it up

They do make one in brass. I think its a little more expensive. I could always powder coat the tower a brushed aluminum or something.
