I am working on getting my kegerator working. As I warned you in the title it's stupid. The shortest shank I see advertized is 3". The door to my fridge is obviously thinner than that. These will fit right? Do I need to set pacers at all? Sorry but I am obsessing over this to get it set up right

Most of the stupid answers will probably come from me. Consider yourself warned.
I really do try to help.

They'll fit fine. All that will happen is the shank will stick out farther on the inside of the fridge. The clamping nut will clamp the shank against the fridge door but the tail of the shank will continue into the fridge.

The shanks you're looking at, are they stainless? I wasn't able to find 3" stainless shanks when I was setting mine up. I got the 4" stainless shanks from Micro Matic.

I take that back, Micro Matic now has 3-1/8" SS shanks for $15.90. If you want smaller, they do have a 2" but that seems really small to me.
