Someone gave me some fresh rhubarb so I cut up 4 cups of strawberries, 2 cups of rhubarb, 1 cup of sugar and boiled the mixture. Then I racked 1 gallon of clover mead with s04 that was about 1 month old onto it. It looks great and smelled awesome. I am planning on bottling at the end of july.

So far so good...right now I'm trying to figure out how to set up a blow-off valve.

In other news...I made it because I thought "regular" mead would be boring. There was about 1 wine glass of mead left over when I added the strawberries and it tasted awesome. Now I want to just make a mead.
