Hi, this Is my first post and my first time trying to make a beer not from a kit. I'm trying to put together a recipe for a stout braggot by mixing two recipes I found online.

Anyways here's what I have if I could get some feedback or possible changes I'd like to attempt this soon.

Recipe for 1 gallon batch.

1.75 lb honey
.5oz east Kent golding hops (60 minutes)
.1oz east Kent golding hops (5 minutes)
1.25 lb dark liquid extract
.2 lb roasted barley
.2 lb English pale malt
.5 cup rolled oats
.25 tsp irish moss
.1 lb Carmel malts
Champagne yeast white labs wlp715 (primary)
Irish ale yeast wyeast 1084 (secondary)

I think you would need to mash the oats and the paddle malt (what is that?). You might want to skip them and instead steep the roast barley and crystal malts. I'm curious how this turns out as I like bragawds and stouts.
