Has anyone had luck using a stirplate inside of a fridge? It is pretty hot this time of year (around 80 degrees). I will be starting an Oktoberfest lager next week and want to get a starter going around optimal temperature(around 55 degrees). Anyone have luck using a stir plate inside a fridge or chest freezer? I know that in some older fridges humidity will condense on the coils and cause dripping. I guess what I am asking is, is it safe? Are there any other alternatives?

My two methods:
1. Modified fridge with two stir plates.
2. Enclosed magnetic stirrer with Peltier device.
Not the best solution for our El Paso summer temps.

No big problem for our low humidity climate.
I equipped my setups with condensate returns.
