Stepping out into the Light

All,

I am stepping outside of my normal type of beer (Belgium) to make a lighter (in color) beer for my father. I've put together this 1 gallon recipe. Keep in mind that my father lives in the dark ages of Corona. I am trying to give him something that will interest him in expanding his beer-izons.

Steeping
0.25# Honey Malt
0.5# Carapils

Malt
1# Light DME

Hops

Saaz or Warrior (I am undecided and unsure)



Thoughts?

I would go with just the carapils and light dme.
