It doesn't bother me too much when people say "mirepoix". After all, it is quite a bit shorter than "chopped onions, celery and carrots". I do hate "augberine" instead of "eggplant", and "capsicums" instead of "bell peppers" is just silly.

I need to take some pictures and post a couple "cooking with beer" recipes.
