Using the Wyeast Belgian Abbey II for the first time. It took a little longer to plump up after the smack - about 8 hours. Will this lag continue in the starter steps? Usually I do 12-18 hours - should I increase this? Planning on doing 2 steps.

Never had any problems getting that yeast going and 8 hours is not that long for a pack to swell up
