StarSan, carboy storage questions.

How long is diluted StarSan solution effective? How long can I store a bucket of this?

Am I doing myself any favors by storing my carboy with a little StarSan solution in it? Can I consider this sanitized next time I use it?

It is good as long as the pH stays within range. I think that's 3.0 it I'm not 100% sure on that number. I use di water and the starsan solution stays good for pretty much ever. It eventually gets dirty and I replace it but the pH is still fine.

If you put some in a carboy and put a cap on it then the carboy will be good indefinitely!
