I searched, but only found old threads.
I'm pricing out stainless QDs. I'm inclined to go with morebeer because I've heard good things. I'm willing to pay the price if they're better quality, but there are many cheaper options out there now.

Not interested in cams, and I don't want to buy them twice. Are the morebeer SS QDs worth the extra $? Other options?

None of the QDs are interchangeable, so you should stick with a brand that will be around for long time to come.

But why not use cams? What is the reason you want to use expensive (proprietary) ball lock QDs?

I think cams are kinda clunky to use.
But, I didn't realize QDs were proprietary, or that all cams were interchangeable... that might make a difference. Thanks.

The type which Morebeer sells (I've bought mine from china, works good, "same" thing) are made in a manner which accumulates some dirt. Especially around the o-ring. I swapped all of mine for triclamps after I noticed this.
