Do any local stores sell the spigots for drilling and mounting to a bucket? Would like to pick some u today but don't want to drive around guessing.

If you have a local home brew store I would check out there first. My local store has a bin full of them at all times.

You sure can, you just need to know what you're looking for. Most will be in the plumbing section. And some will be in specialty hardware. I have a 1/2 hose barb/ 1/2" mpt with a SS washer and a #10 oring through to my brass spigot. If you have a hour or two to kill just get a cart and load it with pieces and figure out what you want. I did it with my MLT. I had pieces lying around for the keggle

I wish I never put a spigot on my bottling bucket. I hate having to deal with. I'd rather just siphon it out.

You could check out spigots in the camping sections of some stores, or even put one together yourself with PVC/CPVC/Nylon parts from the plumbing sections of a hardware store.

I have my bottling wand fixed to my spigot with a short hose piece. While bottling I only handle the bottles, all done over the open door of the dishwasher. Very easy.
