I've been lurking here for a few weeks and finally decided to register.
I brewed back in the 90's but life caught up with me.

Since Super Bowl Sunday I've brewed 2 batches. The first is a Marzen that currently carbonating in a pig and a case of bottles. The second is an Alt that resides in a secondary and will be bottled this weekend.

I foolishly thought I would remember how to do everything so these first two batches contain many mistakes and "don'ts". I revisited my old books and have been reading this board like crazy. I'm confident batch 3 will be much improved.

Thanks to everyone that contributes. Your information is invaluable.
