I was in a crappy mood. I had to be in a pointless 5 1/2 hr. meeting at corporate in LA, that I could easily have done by phone conference, but I needed to "support the team" not to mention keep the boss happy.
Flew from DEN to LA last night, arrived late, 11 hr. day. Had an OK meeting, we got done what needed to be done.
Then, I got notification that I had been upgraded on my return flight. At LAX, had a nice crab cake sandwich and a Stone IPA. On the plane, Jim Beam. Wifi for $4.
Not in a great mood headed home, still a 14 hr. day, but a much better mood than I started in
Hopefully my clone of Surly Smoke is done with its D-rest, that'd cap off the day.
