Hi, I figured I'd show some pics of my old school can collection. These are only my cans from the 1930's to the 60's. All of my 70's pull tabs are stored away in the attic. The reason that many are rusty is because most are extremely tough and expesive to get in grade 1 (mint) condition. One reason for this is because most were thrown out and bottled beer was much more popular prior to the 1970's. These rusty cans are called "dumpers" meaning they were dug up from the ground and cleaned in either oxalic or citric acid to remove as much rust as possible. Most are flat tops (opened with church key), and a few cones and early tab tops. I figured someone may find them interesting. Here they are

Wow those are awesome! I've always been sorta interested in the old cans just never really had the space to store any of 'em. maybe someday.
