A "small" brewery should be able to make up to 6 MILLION barrels? I'm in favor of all of the points except that one. No SMALL brewery makes THAT much beer.
I thought this passed two years ago? I wrote a letter to my congressman at the time who was defeated in 2010. I guess I'll have to write another one.

You can imagine which breweries are pushing this.
Probably Boston Beer, and that is a good thing. Without them trying to helping push this, the small brewers would not have the money or influence to get any bill passed. So Boston Beer gets the benefit too, so what? Jim Koch is one of the originals in the craft brewing scene and arguably did more to push the industry than those who came before him anyway.
