Hi all,
I am new to this forum and new to home brewing.
I'm about to do my first brew and I wanted to know how small a a batch I can brew.
I found a recipe that doesn't look too hard and I scaled it down from 6 gallons to a fifth of that which is about 1.18gallons = 4.5L.
I have scaled back all the ingredients to a fifth of the original recipe.
My question is, is that too small a batch? I anticipate that my first couple of batches won't be very good so I'd rather do it on a small scale but I don't know if a large portion of the water will evaporate.
Any help will be much appreciated!
Thanks!
