We had a "Sierra Nevada Night" at our local watering hole, featuring 5 drafts and the Torpedo IPA in bottles. The Chico IPA (supposedly otherwise only available in their brewpub in Chico) was an amazing brew. I can say without reservation it's the first commercial IPA to rise to the level of Dogfish Head 90 min......which, for me, is saying a lot. If you like IPAs, and get a shot at some, by all means try it.

the chico estate ale is a wet hopped ale. i'm not sure if it's actyally an i.p.a., but it is a truely rare and amazing beer. seirra nevada grows all the hops used in that beer right in the their own backyard, so it's only made in limited amounts. great beer if you can get it.
