Does anyone know how to convert a side by side freezer/refrigerator so that I can put kegs in the freezer side and bottles in the refrigerator side (like it does currently.)

My concern is getting the freezer side to stay at 38 degrees and not freeze my kegs. The freezer side has the water/ice dispenser, so it would be easy to add taps.

I have been looking for a forum for this setup, and haven't seen anyone that wants the freezer side for kegs and refrigerator side for bottles.

Should I just cut out the top 1/3 of the divider between the freezer and refrigerator so it is "one" chamber? Then turn the freezer to warmest setting. Then use my Johnson controller to keep it at 38? How does that work with a side by side?

Thanks in advance for the help. Need to get this done before I can brew again since my "fermenter" is now chilled to 38 degrees so it can house my kegs.

Edit: would this work? Use a single stage temp controller on the main refrigerator plug and the sensor in the freezer to keep it at 38 for the kegs and then install a fan that will blow air into the refrigerator from the freezer and let that run constantly? Only downside would be that the light in the refrigerator side where I keep bottles would not turn on all the time when I open the door. I know there are a bunch of threads on this, but I do not want to rewire my refrigerator with love controllers if I don't have to-- I am not very comfortable doing that much electrical work.
