I must be defective. When I drink I keep rotating my glass so that the lacing is washed away down my throat. I can't stand to see it on the glass because it looks dirty.

I learned something here to. Never knew it was primarily the hops that did it.

It's kind of like clarity: doesn't matter too much for taste but boy does it look nice. Also if you have lacing you had a lasting head which means you get a more aromatic drink.

Yeah,it def made a good head that kept a thin head to the bottom of the glass. Got 4 left for today,& another 5 gallons that needs to be bottled.

Nice! I have heard simcoe is going to be phased out as a hop...too difficult to grow.

I hope not. I just nailed down a recipe for a rye IPA that uses a lot of Simcoe at the end of the boil and as a dryhop.
