If you have a camping cooler as a mash tun and hot liquor tank, I would love to see a photo of your hose hookup. I am getting ready to make one of each and am a little leary of pulling the spout out of the cooler.

thanks,

Rich

You can find a bajillion instructional videos on youtube that cover removing the spout. I'd take pictures of mine, but sadly it does not exist.

I use a ten gallon water cooler with a slotted 12" false bottom. Too tired and lazy to actually post pictures (Don't judge me!), but I can say that it works great. Downside is that it's a little more expensive as you can't really make a false bottom (had to buy it). If you are looking for the cheapest solution, I watched this all grains video where the guy used a 13 gal square cooler with the usually metal hookups. Inside he used 3 rows of PVC piping instead of copper. I'd estimate the whole thing at about 60-80 dollars.

Edit: looks like this: http://www.nicebrew.com/brewing-beer/homebrew-mash-tunlauter-tun-picninc-cooler-conversion-kit/ only not so cheap looking.

Edit Edit: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/video-locator-how-69951/ This one covers the basic connections for this type of lauter. But in the end it depends on what you are connecting of course.
