Recently I've been reading: http://hopfentreader.blogspot.com/ lots of weird ingredients, with short to the point posts.

i would like to try out your pannepot clone. this is my favorite belgian dark strong of all time. this may have to be one of my next batches of beer. i figure if i brew it soon itll be ready by next christmas.

I like kcbeerblog.com, but that's because I used to live there. I miss fresh Boulevard beer!

I need to crack another bottle of that batch now that it is coming up on a year old. Certainly got it in the right ballpark, but I should do a side-by-side to see just how close it was (the last bottle of the actual Pannepot I opened had a serious infection, and I haven't seen another around recently).

I blog about my three interests: technology, automotive, and beer on my blog. http://noisufnoc.com

Right now its pretty tech and auto heavy. I'm thinking about switching URLs also, "confusion spelled backwards dot com" is sometimes hard to explain to people.

One of my go-to blogs recently as well. Inspired me to try my hand at a Belgian, in fact. Just a Golden Strong, but I'll be corking and caging it this weekend or next.

BTW, I may have a brew question for you. Ever do anything with sprouted grain (wheat)? My wife has been excited about a bread project, but it went pitifully wrong somewhere. Can I PM ya?

I work in DC, BTW. You ever get down to Meridian Pint? That's what I've picked up my bottles. They're planning a Belgian homebrew night some time soon. Would be cool to hook up there.

Check out my blog. I focus mainly on beer reviews, but am also going to start posting homebrewing articles soon.

Also, I second any Basic Brewing podcast recommendations. I started listening to them about 2 months ago, and started from episode 1. I am currently 60ish shows in, and they have all been phenominal. Definitely a wealth of info.

I'm doing an interview with Basic Brewing Radio in a couple weeks on Kvass and adding specialty malts to bread (just did a pumpernickel with some carafa), but I've never played with baking with sprouted grains. Happy to chat bread, but it certainly isn’t my area of expertise (normally water percentage is the biggest area where loaves go wrong).

Haven't made it to Meridian Pint yet, but I've been meaning to (when I’m in Columbia Heights I tend to end up at Commonwealth). I’d certainly make it up for a Belgian homebrew night there though, when you get the date/details shoot me a PM.

I often make it to DC Homebrewers meetings, so that is a good place to catch me as well.
