I made a yeast starter tonight for a cranberry belgian wit beer for the upcoming holidays. 2 cups of water & 1/2 cup DME. As I was chilling it after the boil I realized, by the dark color, I used a dark DME instead of a light. I figure (hope!) 2 cups of a dark starter probably won't have any noticable taste difference when it's dumped into 5 gallons of a wit beer.
