I've got a Rochefort 8 clone ready for bottling/kegging. Is this the kind of brew that should be bottled vs. kegging? Or, does it really make a difference?

Bottling would be good if you want to have it last for a while. If you plan on drinking/serving it right away than kegging would be the way to go. Personally I would bottle it and save keg spots for beers like Pale Ales and Hefewiezens.

Properly purged and sealed keg will last a long time. Kind of depends on how many kegs you have and how long you are going to keep it.

I hate bottling so that clouds my judgment.

Can you do half batches. I sometimes bottle half a batch and keg half a batch. Just did it yesterday put half of my Black IPA in a keg and bottled the other half and put away.
