Shelf live Kegged Homebrew

Was curious what the Shelf live is for Kegged homebrew... I Kegged a Blue Moon clone on 8/23, I natural carbed in the Keg for 2 weeks then put into the keggerator... Tasted awesome!! Very Blue Moon like...

Now it no longer has that Wow factor and is even a clear beer, even though 53% was wheat malt...

I'm assuming this is normal but any feed back would be appreciated...

Sounds normal. The longer you leave it cold in the keg the more it's going to clear out. You can get a hefeweizen to drop totally clear after a long enough time. At that point it's a kristallweizen

For your time question, it's the same time as bottles and every beer is going to be different. An IPA will lose its hop character over time. A weizen or wit like you had is much better when it's young. A high alcohol beer will be better after many months.

Kind of a loaded question. Actual shelf life technically speaking could be a long time. I've got a few saisons that are going on two years old that are pretty great. Beer that is kegged will almost always go clear eventually no matter the style. I've got a 139IBU India Inspired Wheat Ale that was 70% wheat at 6.5% alcohol. That being said it clarified after 4 weeks in keg. Four months down the road I personally think it's became better.

Depends on the beer
