Well I love my first brew, I noticed however in my 12oz bottles there is virtually no sediment. I cracked open my first 22 oz bottle today and noticed quite a bit more sediment. Same great flavor, just more sediment. Is this normal? Or just a random thing?

More oz. will have more yeast in suspension and cause more sediment. It also depends on how you bottled. If you bottled straight from the fermenter, and bottled the 22 ozer late, it may have picked up more sediment that the bottles before it. Or, a similar scenario if you used a bottle bucket. It could have just been the last little bit and took most of the sediment with it. Either way, nothing to worry about.

The 22 has almost twice as much beer so when the yeast settle, there will be twice as much sediment. Yes, it's normal.

EDIT: beat me to it.

They were the last to be filled from my bottling bucket, so that makes sense. Thanks for the info, and it still taste great!

And oh yeah, the 22oz mug is the way to go lol
