secondary to bottles?

Hey new to brewing and I am making a Heavy Ale and I just put it into the secondary and was wondering how long to leave it in secondary before I bottle?

How long in fermenter? Usually secondary goes for 2 - 3 weeks but if it's a Heavy then it may be longer.

If you are going to use a secondary then 2 weeks is the minimum. Depending on how big the beer is months is not excessive. I have a 1.120 OG barleywine that will be in the secondary for about 6 months.

sorry for the long delay in response... I got sent out on a business trip and just got home.. Had the fiance watch over the brew for a while but it will be ready in two months from start to finish... So I had it in the primary for two weeks and was thinking about having it in secondary for 1.5 months and then bottles for two weeks. Does that seem like a good plan??
