I am setting up a blended gas system using a Micro Matic MM200 blender it provides 2 fixed outputs of blended CO2 and Nitrogen 60/40 and 75/25 at 50 PSI. I recently purchased 2 taprite 5260 secondary regulators to regulate the output pressure.

The question part is the taprite regulators are marked not for Nitrogen use, I really don't want to have to sell these and purchase something else. Is there any reason these shouldn't be ok for blended gas? I was assuming the no nitrogen warning was due to the higher pressure, but don't want to screw it up.

Thanks

Thanks, I'll give em a call. hopefully they will work.

I didn't realize there was a difference between soda and beer regulators.

it'll work, i have one as a secondary in a standard setup.

i'm really not sure what the difference is. maybe you should ask and tell me :)

Spoke with taprite, and they said these are fine for blended gas with input pressure of 50PSI to the regulator.

Main Difference between soda and beer regulators is soda has higher working pressure and gauges have greater pressure range so they are not as detailed and are not as easy to regulate at lower pressure.

The bonus for me with the 2 I have is they came standard with check valves to prevent back flow:mug:

Thanks again for the suggestion.

yeah i think they all have check valves, even the beer ones.

mine came with 0-100 psi gauge, so i put a 0-60 on.

thanks for the info.
