If I do a week in the primary, then a week in the secondary, can I then go ahead and rack to the keg to cold condition in the fridge?

Do I really need to give it 2 weeks in secondary, or can the first week of conditioning serve the same function as the second week in the secondary?

Well think of it this way. Your not fermenting in the secondary. Its just clarifying.

So if you want to only do a week in the secondary, you're fine. Even better, is cold crash the secondary for a couple days before you rack to a keg.
