First batch was an Irish Red that came out pretty good despite being cloudy as hell.

My new brew is a Porter extract kit I got from Midwest. I didn't read till after I put it in the fermentor that boiling covered is A Bad Thing. What can I do to minimize the damage?

Thanks.

You'll probably will be fine. Your extract was already boiled and that drives off a lot of DMS already. It is also a porter and that will hide some subtle dms flaws.
