Traquair House Ale is in my top ten beers, and I plan on brewing it soon. One thing I love about it is that I picked up the most faint fruity sourness in it and it made me think "this might be great with brett!"
So I am going to brew 10 gal of it, something similar to it, and take 2.5 gal of it, add 0.7 gal of water to bring the OG and IBU down, and pitch nottingham, then brett.

I have never used brett before, so I'm putting my plan out there for advise and such. I don't have any particular questions... other than, what do you think? What kind of brett should I use?

I reckon that Brett C would go well with it,not that I have ever had a bottle.
Aging on White Labs Brett C will lend a nice subtle tartness thst along with a little oak would be a beautiful conbination.
