Hi this is my first attempt at jun. I used a kombucha scoby and it appears to be falling apart and sinking to the bottom. Other than that it smells great and the new scoby looks healthy. Is it safe to drink or should I dump it?

Hope you found your answer by now, but your fine, the solid mass isn’t the most important part of starting a batch, and it floating or no doesn’t really matter. A good dose of strong starter tea is the most important part.
