This is my favorite all around go to beer. I have a (2) super market-esque liquor stores near me that have lots and lots of beers and always carried this. In the past 6 months, they have no longer carried it. Since the store had such a huge selection of beers i usually tried something new, but would occasionally ask a worker what ever happened to SSOBPA, to which no one could answer.

Finally 1 month ago, i asked the manager, who had no idea, and placed an order for a case of it. I just got a call from the store saying that SM OBPA is no longer and it is replaced by SM Organic PA.

Is this true????!!!!! Did they actually replace OBPA with the Organic Pale Ale? That would be devastating as i think they don't taste alike. Can someone confirm or deny this travesty?

Searches and a look at the Samuel Smiths website seems to confirm this.

I think I have one bottle left, too...

Bids?:D

I like them both, they are different. Ill have to pick up some bottles of the OBPA.
