I wonder if he had anything to do with Playground Tactics, that beer is ******* fantastic.

My can had a 10/26 canning date so maybe a second batch? This is a brand new hire of the new Head Brewer. Just announced over the past few days.
Playground Tactics IPA came out in June 2018. One of Peter Hoey's beers.
Looking forward to what this new partnership/Head Brewer brings. I have had a few Other Half Beers in the past, but nothing lately. Can anyone comment on recent OH beers? Is it all Lactose and Oates cream ipas????? Hype and lines?

Yes. It was on tap at the brewery back in June 2018 just after the grand opening. They did crowlers as well.

It is still on tap right now in December. So they may be brewing more regular batches now with the more popular beers.
Got a friend going to Sac next month and is looking for bottle shop rec’s
I gave him a bunch of brewery’s/food spots, but I don’t have any insight on bottle shops
I’ll pass it along, thank you!
Just some New Glory post release feedback. The $8 cans of Mallow Blaster Imp Stout sold out within a few hours on Friday after release. Big hit locally.
I did not get there in time for cans. But got to try it on Draft on Sunday. Mallow Blaster was pretty damn good. 15.5% was sure hidden, dangerously easy drinker. Not many reviews so far on untappd: https://untappd.com/b/new-glory-craft-brewery-mallow-blaster/2975485
Just on a side note..... The new location for the New Glory Eatery and Taproom in Granite Bay is great. Best views of any local taproom. Scenic nature area and pond/lake right out from the outdoor patio. Good pizza was a plus as well.

Made a quick Moonraker stop today on the way to the In-laws in Grass Valley. Their beers are so damn good. I love their hazy stuff, but man their WC stuff is even better, imo. Easily my favorite non Sante NorCal brewery.

Made my first trip to Urban Roots yesterday afternoon. It will not be my last.
I'm not sure what I liked more, the beer or the food. They were both on point!
Big OG bArF and Lil bArF (bronco anti raider fan) meeting up tonight, sounds like Urban Roots & Fieldwork if anyone wanna touch tips.
Gonna play disc golf tomorrow morning, hit up the foothills area stuff afterwards (Moksa, New Glory, Moonraker).
Best chilaquiles place in the Rocklin-Auburn corridor?
Rough roads coming down the hill from Reno. Even snowed as low as Auburn this morning.
Are you playing Disc Golf in Rocklin (Johnson-Springview park)?
This place is only a few blocks away for food. https://www.mezcalitocuisine.com/
Just a few blocks from Moksa as well.
Yeah I hear ya, bringing the 4wd instead of the Accord for that reason.
Not sure where we're playing, just know my bro don't wanna play the same place we did last time in the Auburn area because he lost a disc or two he said, so that joint you mentioned is pretty likely I guess.
I literally haven't played since whatever that course was in November, just been skiing every weekend.
Thanks for the recs gonna try and hit both, over/under on your suggestions: 1.5
Someone report how these are! Very curious, all other styles I have tried from them have been nailed so I don't expect less here.
