Hello all! I am new to home brewing. Just getting ready to brew my first batch this weekend. I have spent the last month gathering gear and continuing to read as much as possible. Been thinking about doing this for a year or two, taken a couple of classes and ready to take the plunge. I am also remodeling a basement game room to hold my gear, the keezer and become a brew pub!

Here are some pics of the keezer I am building. I started a couple days ago. I am using an insignia 7.0 ft freezer. I will have 3 taps and 5 lb CO2 tank. Currently waiting for taps, 2nd keg and CO2 tank to arrive. I am using an inkbird to control the temperature.

This forum has been huge!! I did not even know what a keezer was before, now I am building this awesome tap setup, so thanks to all of you for your insight and sharing your experiences.

Looking good, bud. I dig the reclaimed wood look to it all. How's that beer taste?

Thanks. The beer is a mixed bag so far lol. My first batch I split in 2 using 2 different yeasts. One is pretty solid, drinkable and in the ballpark of what I was shooting for. Something is really off with the other half and I have not been able to drink it. Batch 2 is in the fermenter now and hoping its a step forward. I am sure I will get there. If nothing else it prompted me to redo my basement room :)
