Have about 4 pints of rose hips in my freezer, not enough for a batch of wine alone...thinking about mixing them with fresh blackberries .... any suggestions? Anybody have a 3 gal recipe? Thanks, Schatz
Sounds tasty to me! I think the rose hips would add a nice bit of tartness & an extra layer of flavor. For blackberry wine, I usually go with 4 to 5 lbs of fruit per gallon of container size & cane sugar to reach the desired OG.
