I put some root beer in one of my kegs trying to be the good dad. The stuff is gone and I can't get rid of the taste from the keg I have used soap,PBW,Clorox with Hot water and can't get rid of taste. I ruined a good batch of Pale Ale in the keg Looking for some help here Thanks John.

Give it a nice long soak in oxyclean and replace everything that comes in contact with the root beer. All the connectors, lines, o rings, etc.

Sorry I can't help, but I'm about to do a root beer for the kids as well. I've heard plenty of stories like yours so I picked up a picnic tap and will allocate a corny just for root beer. All the parts will be marked so that I don't re-use it for beer.
