Hello all, my name is Stuart and I'm a soon-to-be new brewer from Raleigh, NC. I got interested in the hobby several months ago after tasting a friends' homebrew, but only yesterday got together the cash to get equipment and ingredients for my first batch (which will be a basic American Pale Ale...it's a kit that came with the equipment I bought from my local supply shop).

I've been enjoying fine beers for a long time and I'm really excited to start making my own.
