I started brewing about a year and a half ago with a Brooklyn Brewshop kit for Christmas. I quickly fell in love and branched out very quickly with my gear. One thing I always hated though was the bottling process.

I started to toy around with the idea of building a kegerator and shopping the idea with SWMBO. I originally wanted to build a simple collar around a chest freezer and stick it in the corner of the kitchen. The only problem was that I didn't have enough room and the wife hated the idea. I didn't want to trek out into the garage every time I wanted a beer and plus I'd have to rearrange where my tool chest was!

Then she gave me an alternative. Build something that looks good and it can go in the corner in the living room for all to see. Challenge Accepted!
After months of playing around in SketchUp and lurking craigslist for kegs. I finally had a design I wanted and found 3 kegs that a very nice gentleman gave to me for cheap. I had my marching orders!

However I didn't have any woodworking experience. The last thing I built was a fence gate using 2x4's and fence boards. I'd never attempted something that needed to look good. That didn't stop me though because I had youtube on my side and a woodworking buddy from high school several hundred miles away!

I probably spent more time researching how to do something than actually doing it but it all paid off in the end. Plus now I have several new skills to perfect and hone in on!

That's a great looking Kezzer, May you have many years of great brews from it.:mug:
