Ripple element in 10 gal kettle

Has anyone installed a 5500 watt ripple heating element in a 10 gallon SS brewtech kettle? I ordered pretty much the only option from EBrew Supply, but it's too long. Not sure what my options are.

I gently, gently bent the element in my 10 gallon Spike kettle. I'll try to post some pics up

Not sure how others did it...but this worked for me. I did take a resistance measurement before and after...no change

If you are using Tri Clamp fittings you can order an extension collar. I ordered a small collar from Brewers hardware.
