RIMS issue: 1/2 NPT to M8

I'm trying to put together a RIMS system but have run into a problem connecting a few of my parts.

I've got this PID kit: http://www.thermomart.com/beer-brewing -kit
and this RIMS tube: http://www.brewhardware.com/rimsherms-parts/169-newrims

The RIMS tube is drilled and tapped as 1/2" female NPT. The temp probe that comes with the PID kit has M8 threads.

Anyone have any idea how I can connect these and still ensure it's liquid tight?

What about a 1/2" NPT (male) to 1/4" compression fitting? Throw a couple of o-rings in there and skip the M8 connection all together.
