Any feedback on the 1/6 bbl Pubkeg? Also another company is making steel, one use 1/4 bbls. No deposit, just tell the retailers to scrap them. This is great for not having to worry about a cleaning system. Just don't know the price for them yet. I know the PK's are around $20ish based on volume (min 48 purchase) and perhaps around $10 for a new insert.

Saw these at GABF and asked the guy manning the booth about homebrew. I can't remember the specific reason (probably on beer sample #40 by that point), but there was some deal breaker, like a seal that you'd have to break to fill them unless you used special equipment maybe?

Here we go, from their FAQ:

"Can I get just one for my homebrew?
We’d love to send you just one or two PubKegs, but we don’t want to mislead you. Here at PubKeg, we have created what we feel is the best one-way keg out there. That being said, because it is a one-way keg, it probably isn’t the best fit for your home brew. Because it is made of recyclable plastic, we recommend that the internal parts be replaced after each use. We don’t want to discourage your interest in the PubKeg, humble home brewers, but we do feel that there are better options out there for you. Once your beer gets famous and you are shipping it all over the world to be enjoyed, come back and find us. We might just be the perfect fit for you then"
