IS THERE A WAY TO BOIL HOPS AND NOT HAVE THEM ALL OVER THE PLACE? CAN I PUT THEM IN A BAG AND BOIL FOR THE ALLOTTED TIME?

Shouting aside, I bag ALL of my hops (don't like dealing with the sludge) and don't see an issue with it. It might make a small difference in the bittering, but I doubt either of us would be able to tell......

Gotta love the OPs reaction (keep the shout, shrink the font! :D)

Anyway...one can use hop bags - nylon for pellets, muslin for whole cones. Load them up, toss them in, and let them float around.
Or one could use a hop "spider" - which could use a stainless steel mesh cylinder, or a nylon paint strainer bag.
Or one could let the hops swim free and use a lautering device like a Hopstopper.

I've used them all over many years, and finally ended up using the Hopstopper V2...
