Just thought I'd post here since I've been lurking for a long time. First off, thanks for all of the info here...it's been very helpful so far. I grew up in Fort Collins, CO, so I've got a special place for craft beer. I'd love to make it back when I retire, but not if I ever intend on making money with beer!
I've been homebrewing for two years and as a matter of fact I'm cracking open my first bottle from a semi-creative recipe exactly two years from the date of starting my first batch.
This weekend I'll be starting my 10th batch and also my first non-kit partial. It's a Dunkelweizen that I found here.
A few projects that I've got coming up:
Hop Spider
Counterflow Chiller
Lagering Chamber
Regarding the lagering chamber, I have some ideas for the ETC that deviate a little bit from what I have seen here. I'll document my project as I go and if it works well I'll definitely share.
Anyway, happy to be here and looking forward to contributing.
