Removing inventory in Beersmith

So say I sold some of my grain to a buddy, and I simply want to delete that grain from my inventory. The "delete" button is grayed out. How do I delete it?

go into your inventory and change the amount

Ahhh... change the amount to zero!

Man, I spent way too much time on this. A "delete" option, common everywhere else, would be the ticket.
