This thread's been dormant for a while, and this one isn't ska/reggae/rocksteady, but it's a great soul track by the queen of rocksteady, so I'm counting it. Was my jam all morning.

I'm not wild about The English Beat (my least favorite 2 Tone band by far) but they certainly do put on a good show. They're coming around here again later in the month (they do so regularly). I was pissed as hell to find out the day after it happened that The Selecter was playing near here, whom I've never seen before.

I can't remember if I've heard that before. In either case, it's a great tune.
My neighbors band Hirie is on a 6 week nationwide tour with Tribal seeds and they are playing tonight in Iowa. .check it out..

Yeah, I like that one. There are so many great obscure tracks out there. Here's another Lee Perry produced gem...

This music is great to brew by.
I love me some first wave ska to brew by. My most frequent choice.
there was a really great album put out a few years back called reggae gone country. I don't usually like country music but with a reggae vibe it sounds nice in my ears!

Usually I only listen to hard core dancehall but this has a very easy listening quality to it.
