It takes a little effort to actually get a clerk to part with alcohol in exchange for any amount of my hard-earned cash.

According to Maryland Code Subsection 3-304, up to 14 you have to be less than 4 years older than them; (3-306 is 3-304 but by force without consent); 3-307 if you are 21 or over they can't be 14 or 15; 3-308 cannot be a full-time employee 21 or over in a position to supervise a minor at a primary or secondary school (we're not talking about adults at college); and 3-324, you may solicit anyone you could legally engage in such things with under 3-304, 3-306, 3-307, and 3-307.

So yes, I could legally hit on (16+) high school girls in my state. Even if I'm hitting on them on the Internet and we meet up. If they are Chris Hansen, it doesn't matter, we have a laugh about it.

Also interesting on the topic: According to 3-318, you cannot violate 3-304, 3-306, 3-307, or 3-308 with your spouse unless you are BOTH separated by agreement or physical separation (non-cohabitation) for 3 months or you use force without consent. It's odd, it specifically mentions the law banning rape as being exempted by marriage, then excepts rape from the exemption. ?_?

Maryland Code subsection 3-322 is the most interesting. It graphically describes oral sex, possibly with animals; and then says or "commit another unnatural or perverted practice with another or with an animal." Penalty? 10 years in prison (more anal sex), $1000 fine. Even worse, an indictment only has to state that you engaged in unnatural or perverted practices, but not the details of such. "We accuse you of doing something illegal under MD Code 3-322. We won't say what, but you are going to jail for it." Uh.

... I get hit on by 16 year olds a lot. One started trying to quote the age of consent laws in this state (wtf?) last week, so I actually looked it up. Fascinating read, especially 3-322

My suggestion would be:

Find a nice girl, settle down, buy house. Have said girl inform you she thinks "we're pregnant". Accomadate her, leaving your business.
Find her with your best friend.
Have her lock you out of your house.
Go live with your parents while fighting to get your house back.
Have her take your Dog to kennel.
Finally get a judge to decide that you are not the idiot she makes you out to be,
Find out your dog was adopted out.

Move back into the house you broke your balls to buy, only to find that her and her new "friend" completely trashed it.


Trust me, after that you will be wise beyond your years, and yes, you will have a few grey hairs.

Enjoy your youth!

Not interested in settling down. I grew up around people who constantly whined that they need some sort of abstract relationship ("I know no good guys/girls why don't I have a boyfriend/girlfriend nobody loves me") and never understood why. I see no benefit in relationships; it takes a lot of emotional effort, something I simply can't fake for convention.

I have the same problem. Except I made it a lot worse. I decided about 6 months before my license expired that I was gonna grow a mustache and let it go. No trimming for 6 months (kept growing it after the picture for almost a year). Picture turned out great. But now everytime I buy alcohol or have to show my ID I get questioned or turned down. I'M 24 !!!

Eh, I try, it's hit or miss.

I'll settle down if I ever find a good reason... but it's hella expensive, in money and time and ruination of life (your entire life gets trashed and replaced with something completely different); this is not the time to say, "Well she's hot and f*@king wild in bed, plus she's bi and lets me bring home a girl for a threeway sometimes!" You have your whole life for things to change and settle down, and you better be ready to accept that happening eventually (possibly in a few short years) before you commit to that. I'm simply not interested....

Don't miss it if you find it. Just don't jump the first NFL cheerleader that says she'll marry you because she's a freaking NFL cheerleader and you think you'd be stupid to turn that down.

I've got to find a picture of me. I look about the same. I get carded to go see rated R movies. I feel your pain. People say it'll be nice when I'm older, but that doesn't really help me out now. I can't even begin to count the number of people who think my girlfriend is my older sister. It doesn't help that I have a TN ID and live in Louisiana. I also can't grow facial hair, and according to my father I never will.

Dude get a haircut and grow some facial hair that always works. I got carded going into a R movie a couple of weeks ago as well and I'm 26 but I'm pretty sure I look over 18 the kid that was working was just carding most people because he was new.
